This year, we are proud to announce our inaugural Non-Perishable Food Drive, an initiative designed to make a tangible difference in the lives of those facing food insecurity across Chicago and its surrounding suburbs. We are committed to fostering a spirit of generosity and hope, and we invite all our valued clients, homeowners, and community members to join us in this vital cause.
Help Us Fill the Shelves!
Our goal is simple yet profound: to collect non-perishable food items that will be donated to local Chicago and Suburban Food Banks. These organizations work tirelessly to support families and individuals in need, providing essential sustenance and a beacon of hope during challenging times. Every donation, no matter how big or small, contributes directly to feeding our neighbors and building a stronger, healthier community.
We will be collecting donations in our lobby, conveniently located at our offices at 8430 Gross Point Road in Skokie IL now through December 31, 2025. We encourage anyone in the area to drop off items during our business hours.
What to Donate: Suggested Non-Perishable Items
To ensure we collect the most impactful items for those in need, we’ve put together a list of appropriate non-perishable food suggestions:
- Canned Goods: Vegetables (corn, green beans, peas), fruits (peaches, pears), soups (chicken noodle, tomato), stews, chili, beans (black, pinto, kidney), tuna, chicken.
- Grains & Pasta: Rice (white, brown), pasta (spaghetti, macaroni, penne), instant mashed potatoes, oatmeal.
- Proteins: Peanut butter, nuts, dried beans, lentil, canned meats.
- Baking & Spices: Flour, sugar, cooking oil, spices (salt, pepper).
- Breakfast Items: Cereal (hot and cold), granola bars.
- Condiments & Sauces: Pasta sauce, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise.
- Beverages: Shelf-stable milk, juice boxes.
- Baby & Toddler Items: Baby food (purees, cereals), formula (unopened, unexpired).
- Other: Crackers, fruit snacks, dried fruit.
